Dr. Michael Salas received his naturopathic education from the American School of Naturopathy, the oldest 4 year, congressionally chartered, naturopathic college in North America. He also received more traditional naturopathic education from Trinity School of Natural Health. Dr. Salas has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Physica Energetics- ‘Legacy Continuum Award 2018, ‘Iridologist of the year 2022’ by the International Iridologists Practitioners Association; for his work in advancing the practice of Iridology into new frontiers, including his founding of Genomic Iridology. He has also obtained recognition from both the California state Assembly and Senate; for his work in maintaining the practice of Naturopathy separate from Naturopathic Medicine.

He has supported and facilitated the founding of many naturopathic organizations, such as the Michigan Naturopathic Association, Naturopathic Physicians Association of Idaho, Pennsylvania Doctors of Naturopathy Association and Virginia Naturopathic Doctors Association. Continuing in the footsteps of the founders, he has been instrumental in contributing to the drafting of the NDLEX or Naturopathic Doctors Licensing Exam, administered by the National Board of Naturopathic Examiners of the American Naturopathic Association.

Dr. Salas has lectured extensively in America as well as Africa, Europe and Australia. His topics revolve around the use of Iridology and genetics as well as pushing the boundaries of the current practice of Naturopathy to new frontiers.
